Covering Re- Engineering Philanthropy

This issue shares thoughts and reflections from conference participants and EAPN members while celebrating the winners of the East Africa Philanthropy Awards who were celebrated at the close of the conference. In the wake of the pandemic, they demonstrated leadership, service, and innovation in addressing the effects of the pandemic in their communities. They used their skills, resources, networks, and love for humanity demonstrating the true essence of philanthropy. Their stories are proof that the answers to the global and continent’s most pressing challenges are within reach and available on the continent. This issue also includes a profile of our newest member StepWise Foundation and appreciates all those who attended the Gathering of Givers East Africa Edition held on 30th September 2021.
